We hear “Democracy cannot survive without voting,” “Voting is a right” and many other powerful words. Call me unpatriotic Call me un-democratic Call me whatever you want but I will not vote on the upcoming Bangladesh national election. I will tell you why?
I will not vote because it is not going to make any difference of my life and the lives of the 150 millions general populations.
I will not vote because I know whoever wins will bring us the champion trophy of the most corrupted country in the world one more time.
I will not vote because I don’t believe in family based democracy.
I will not vote because I know it will not stop violence, and corruptions.
I will not vote because the defeated party will not accept the result of the election.
I will not vote because the party wins the election is not going to fulfill its promises, and words.
I will not vote because it will not make our politicians to love a beautiful country in the world, Bangladesh.
